My studio is called Mondays Production. The reason I named it that is because Monday is the first day of the week and everyone will start a day of work or school. It is like the departure day for a whole new week as well as bringing the beginning of something. In addition, it can also be a challenge because most of the time after going through the weekend, we will have difficulty with the first day back to work. That also partly shows that I always want to have new departures and am not afraid to face challenges.
I used the image of a film roll because I felt it carried a lot of meaning. First, talking about the film industry or photography in general, images are indispensable. A beautiful film or a beautiful photo must go through the recording step and the film roll is what can store that data. It can be used to take photos and produce videos. It is a very important and indispensable tool in the filmmaking process during my time studying media, so I decided to choose it and proceed to make a logo. I also like its nostalgia because the colors it brings are something that digital can never replace.
The reason I chose the number 777 on the film roll is that it is usually the position of the ISO level that the film can shoot at, I changed it to 777. Not only is it a number that I like, but the number 777 has many special meanings in different fields, from spirituality to popular culture. In Christianity, the number 777 is considered a symbol of holiness, perfection and the presence of God, in contrast to the number 666 which represents evil. In angelology and spirituality, 777 is often seen as a sign of guidance from the universe or angels, encouraging personal and spiritual growth. In popular culture, this number is associated with luck, often seen in slot machines when all three reels show 777, bringing a big win. Additionally, in numerology, 777 symbolizes enlightenment, wisdom and self-discovery, reminding people to trust in the chosen path. Therefore, the number 777 is not only a number but also carries a message of positivity, faith and luck in life.
